Tyler "Tyger" LeBlanc

Personal Trainer

Tyler "Tyger" LeBlanc believes in an integrative and functional approach when helping himself and others reach their true potential. His philosophy of optimal health/performance calls for growth of the whole person- in spirit, mind, & body. Training and coaching at Lightning Fitness has been the biggest stepping stone in his coaching and athlete career. Lightning truly provides a top tier environment with the best equipment and members allowing every individual to excel at any goal. Tyler received his Bachelors in Applied Exercise Science at Springfield College. He was a NCAA Div III wrestler, and has competed in strongman on the national and international levels

Jill Funk

Personal Trainer | Strength and Conditioning

Jill Funk has been a certified Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning and Strongman coach for 7 years and is thrilled to be training at Lightning Fitness, where she was introduced to strongman 12 years ago! Jill graduated with her Master’s degree from Springfield College in 2016 and graduated with a second Master’s Degree in 2020 from the University of Southern Florida. She loves to help every and anyone reach their fitness goals and loves to help guide people to be the healthy version of themselves, whether someone is wanting to compete or try strongman/woman, or just wanting some help with overall fitness. She’s worked with a variety of clients ranging in ages of 8-92 years old. Jill is a Strongwoman competitor of 12 years which is her absolute passion where she has won 3 national titles as well as 2nd, 5th, and 6th in World Championships.

John Wetmore

 John Wetmore is a powerlifting coach and personal fitness trainer from South Windsor, CT. He has competed in powerlifting since 2021 and continues to be involved in the sport as a competitor, volunteer, and soon as a judge/referee. He started Devil’s Grip Powerlifting in 2023 and has coached athletes to achieve state records, state championships, Best Lifter awards, and to compete on the National stage. As a former high school teacher, Johnny highly values community, personal achievement, and accountability. His goals are to help gym-goers discover the sport of powerlifting, develop strong & functional physiques, and to make training meaningful.

Dylan Small

B.S Exercise Science - Strength and Conditioning

I am devoted to helping anyone achieve their fitness goals in any capacity, no matter the level or discipline. I have been a trainer for the last 4 years, with experience teaching exercise to high school and collegiate athletes, older populations in a senior center, and classes of various demographics. I recently have started taking on clients interested in strongman training, whether it is for competitive or recreational reasons. Those that struggle with discipline or starting a routine will struggle no more after I work with them.
